2. Privacy Policy

A buyers shipping address, billing address, and contact information will only be used to communicate with the buyer about their order, and to fulfil their order. Buyer details will not be shared with any other business or organisation.

I will however disclose a buyer's details in cases where I am required by law to pass on information or if I believe action is necessary for fraud, cyber crime or to protect this website, my rights or my personal safety.

3. Order Processing & Delivery

All of my products are handmade to order. Delivery time depends on the clarity of the information provided for the design at the ordering stage, the complexity of the design and therefore how long it takes to make, whether the Varnishing Service has been selected, and my availability. A varnished sign will receive at least two coats of a hard wearing polyurethane varnish, which will add at least two days to the delivery time. I will acknowledge an order and make the sign(s) as soon as I am able to. If I am unclear about what has been requested I will contact the customer for further information, often providing a picture of the design for approval / comment. In addition to this business I also have a full time job which, on some occasions, takes me away from home.

Approximate delivery times are as follows;

UK = 7 to 10 Days
Europe = 10 to 14 Days
Rest of World = Up to 28 Days

Returns Policy

1. Returnable Items

During the ordering process buyers are required to select various options relating to the effect, finish, font and message on the back. Some signs require the selection of additional options relating to the design. Buyers are also required to provide information, in a free text box, as they go through the checkout process, relating to the wording and/or design specifics for the ordered sign(s). Buyers must provide as much info as possible, ensuring names are spelled correctly and dates are correct.

I will gladly accept a returned order if;

I have made an error with the design or production of the ordered sign(s)
The order arrives damaged or defective
The design is a generic design, without names, dates, logos or other personal text or images.

Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. If buyers wish to return an order they must notify me within seven days of delivery and the item must be returned to the address above within 14 days of delivery. I will provide a full refund of the original order value minus the postage fee charged on the original order.

Orders cannot be cancelled once the burning of the design on the sign has begun. If buyers wish to cancel an order they must contact me as soon as possible following the placing of the order. If I have not started the burning process I will gladly provide a refund minus a 25% order processing fee.

2. Non-returnable Items

The design is a personalised design, with names, dates, logos and/or other personal text or images.

3. Disclaimer

My signs are made from wood. Wood is a natural product therefore every sign differs from the previous and the next sign made. No two pieces of wood are the same. The majority of my signs are made from reclaimed or unused pieces of tanalised (treated) timber provided by a carpenter friend. Signs may present different grain patterns, different colours and different natural features such as knots and fissures. I try my very best to select a piece of wood that does not contain features that confuse or interfere with the design ordered. I also try my best to select pieces of wood that are similar when multiple signs are purchased within the same order. I cannot guarantee that a sign ordered on a later date than a previously ordered sign will be from the same tree, therefore I cannot guarantee it will present the same grain patterns, colours and natural features.
